2021 Committees

Ambassador/Membership – Committee will focus on engaging with new members of our association. Atttending monthly Morning Blend Meetings is highly encouraged when possible. Committee will facilitate introduction of newcomers to Board of Directors and to the general membership at association events. Committee will be responsible for soliciting annual feedback from the membership to ensure events and services remain relevant.

Community Outreach – Committee will review partnership inquiries as well as seek opportunities with other non-profit organizations to promote NVSAA’s goodwill. A minimum of 2 events are required per year. Soliciting support and donations for specific causes will be required. This committee really evokes the warm and fuzzy in everyone…join us in making our community a better place to call home.

Dinner/Mixer/Bowling Social – Committee will organize our Summer Mixer, October Dinner and the following January Kickoff Mixer. Committee is tasked with creating theme and vibe.

Education – Committee is tasked with developing education classes based on our industry’s needs. Promoting professionalism through education and awareness is key.

Jewel Awards –Theme and décor is most important. Coordination on all aspects of the event are filtered to subcommittees.

Maintenance Mania - Coordinates theme and fun for our annual event! Committee will promote sponsorship opportunities leading up to the event, ensure competitors know the details of competing and promote practice sessions.

Next Gen/Young Professionals – This is a new committee. Goals and priorities will need to be discussed.

Social Media – This year’s committee will be responsible for creating a social media game or competition for each event’s social media sponsorship. Finding ways to promote not only NVSAA but all event sponsors on social media will be a priority.

Supplier Partner Task Force – This Task Force is activated when discussion is needed regarding items needing supplier partner feedback. Meetings are announced as needed.
